Cappuccino Mousse
If you are a coffee or mocha lover, you'll find this dish irresistible. It is also loved my many other people.
Main ingredients: White chocolate, Eggs, Double cream, Cappuccino
Time of preparation: 40 minutes
Time of cooking: 5 minutes
Serving: 6
Ingredients
- 2 Eggs, beaten
- 3 tbsp Gelatine
- 125 g Butter, soft
- 3 tsp Cream Cheese,or coffee powder
- 11/2 cup Whipped Cream
- 250 g Chocolate, melted
Directions
In a medium heatproof bowl, mix chocolate, butter and eggs until smooth.
In a bowl, put 2 tbsp water.
Sprinkle gelatine on the surface and leave until spongy. Boil water in a pan and remove from heat.
Put bowl in the pan (not over heat) and stir until geletine dissolves completely. Leave to cool slightly.
Stir into chocolate mixture until well blended. Cover and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
Stir whipped cream into chocolate mixture. Put 1/3 quantity of mousse in a separate bowl.
Mix coffee with 3 tsp hot water and leave until cooled.
Add to remaining mousse and stir well.
Pour into 6 glasses or bowls and smooth the surface.
Spoon the reserved 1/3 quantity of mousse on top in glasses.
Refrigerate for about 6 hours, preferably overnight.
